"Mixtape"

Either it comes straight from the heart or it is almost impossible to say it aloud or write it down: A declaration of love. For all those intoxicated by emotion and words simply fail them, there is a mix; a tape, a self-mixed audio cassette of the most beautiful songs... Felix Marchand forms a piece out of this sonic necessity: "Mixtape." A player is placed on stage, a few cassettes are distributed and right away the audience can choose songs and have them played. The young German choreographer from Berlin dances the accompaniment to this and tells his/a story that is also one of the "hymns" from the mix.
