Working, editing, reworking, developing – these are premises of the huge dance project which Elio Gervasi, Austrian choreographer of Italian origin, has been conducting since last autumn. Successful live performances with the mysterious titles „3-igle-ynes“ and „elgi-seny-6“ have already taken place in Halle 1030 and in dietheater Künstlerhaus. Now Gervasi presents a third and last part: „12-seny-6“. Intense work of the processual kind, excellent dancing, successful improvising and charismatic acting are the hallmarks of Gervasi’s artistic spectrum. The rhythm of the play is marked by the ups and downs of approaching and evading. Different personalities encounter one another on a simple but effectively designed stage, and create a complex yet fragile microcosm that is based on the dancers’ individual movement vocabulary and their accomplished ways of communicating with each other.
