What happens when a piece of music is repeated 840 times? This is exactly what Erik Satie proposed for his “Vexations”. In the performance installation of the same name, Kerstin Kussmaul and Jan Burkhardt combine the meditative piece of music with a sophisticated concept of space where the members of the audience may come and go as they please.
