"The Making Of Doubt"

Just because a human body is depicted doesn’t mean that there’s a human inside of it. In a bizarre tour de force, Colette Sadler mixes artificial and human performers, also extending them by means of prostheses. There are no boundaries to either the dancing or the images arranged by her. With laconicity and wit the dancers play with the perception of reality, its misrepresentation and forgery. “A brilliant provocation”, The Glasgow Herald praised the successful first group piece by the choreographer living in Berlin and Glasgow, who studied dance in London, New York and Ottawa, and has been creating her own works since 2002.
