Yoga for Dancers
move your sacred ass!
This workshop is specifically designed for dancers. Please note: This is not asana dance. The intention of this class is to make the immediate link between yoga and dance as movement practices. It will investigate the vocabulary of yoga, which has traditionally been practised in a more static form and evolve these physical structures, through improvisation and set material, into dynamic movement experiences. It is less about style and more about using familiar landmarks to seek your own personal pathway. Strong contemporary, ballet or locking/popping training are suggested.
