Pilates excercises with the aim to improve your movement quality and performance. It feels good and increases your joy of life. Well directed excercises for coordination enable to raise naturally, get taller, look slender and more attractive. Pilates creates a dynamic muscular corset that protects the body like an armament, appears like a corsage, and increases the emotional and sexual potential. Training and activating the deep muscles of the pelvis and the pelvic floor supports the activity of the stomach and the intestines. The excercises stimulate the metabolism in general and the metabolism of oxygen, as well as the lymph drainage and the production of the body‘s own joy hormones.
Barbara MayrBarbara Mayr is Pilates trainer, laugh therapist, dancer and architect. As an architect she had influence on the planning of wellknown buildings such as Café Gloriette in Schönbrunn and Spiegelwohnturm at the Gasometer in Vienna. Through modern expressive dance she got to know the Pilates method. Since she finished her training education at Body Control Pilates in England she is in charge of the Pilates Academy in Vienna.
