"Can you repeat?"

“Can you repeat?” presents and examines the body (or rather the mind?) in a state or process of trying and developing. The dance piece comprises two parts which are like two sides of a coin, displaying in a humorous manner how language and thought reach into each other and are inseparable from movement. Surprising turns invite the audience to adjust its points of view and to try out several interpretations of both performances which are similar and yet so different.

Well-known as a brilliant dancer, e.g. for Aydin Teker and Emmanuelly Huynh, Ayse Orhon has been working as a choreographer and video artist for a couple of years and is a co-founder of “AMBER – Association for Process-based Arts” (Istanbul).
