Virtuoso, funny, melodramatic and paying tribute to kitsch: Antony Rizzi is a sad, melting snowman, watching romantic films against a backdrop of erotic pictures. In a self-ironic monologue he reveals the neuroses and disillusionments of a childhood under the influence of cinema and television. Rizzi’s play with the contradictions of exposure and concealment, of movement and apathy is carried by absurd, delicate humour.
