I want to transmit a sensation of earth to the students and how it may affect their movement profoundly. We will concentrate on the basic ways of initiating movement, of coordinating arms and legs, and of learning basic movement which will allow the students to absorb technique while dancing.“



Joe Alegado
Joe Alegado was a soloist of the José Limón Company and a teacher at the José Limón Institute in New York City over many years. Besides his longterm cooperation with Viennese dance institutions such as the state opera ballet school his life has been bringing him to different parts of the world. He shares his work with people in Asia, various European countries and the USA. From the beginning in 1984 he has been on the faculty of ImPulsTanz Workshops, former International Dance Weeks Vienna.
