Kenji Takagi
After graduating at the Folkwanghochschule Essen he was a member of Folkwang-Tanzstudio for a couple of years. For several years up to now he has then been participating in Tanztheater Wuppertal directed Pina Bausch. He is part of numerous repertory pieces, such as the famous works Auf dem Gebirge hat man ein Geschrei gehört, Komm tanz mit mir, Kontakthof, and Le Sacre du Printemps. Kenji Takagi has co-operated with Pina Bausch for the last years' creations, called Für die Kinder von gestern, heute und morgen, Nefes, Ten-Chi, and Rough Cut.
