"comme crâne, comme culte"

The solo performance, developed for an idyllic courtyard in Avignon, shows the iconic figure of a biker – black, helmeted and faceless – transforming into meditative slowness. Quotations from break-dance and acrobatics (Jean-Baptiste André is a professional circus acrobat) fit together into a slow, flowing representation of almost mythical solitude.
The biker crosses the room timidly, acknowledging those present, sometimes standing, sometimes moving on the floor. In the end he lazily glides, once again, into a sequence that has been repeated before; a half-handstand while heart-rending voices break the silence.
