"shifted views"

In Doris Stelzer’s work media images of art bodies, advertising bodies and everyday bodies acquire cracks and become independent. After her highly regarded solo “microscopic view” – a dialogue between projected photography and danced projection that is as measured as it is dense, staged without sentimentality or arrogance and, on top of that, strongly acted” (Der Standard) – Stelzer now begins to change her viewpoint and to sabotage the world of stereotyped images, to break it open and turning it into a grotesque by using refined and minimalist ways of staging the production. „shifted views“ is another collaboration with Lieve de Pourcq.
