Development of tools for spontaneous composition
The very complex systems of seeing, hearing, touching determine the movement of our body. How can we use these systems of grasping the world to compose and dance? How can we shake them up to loosen the habitual patterns of our body und better tap out imagination?
Loïc TouzéLoïc Touzé is a dancer, choreograph and teacher. Together with Latifa Laâbissi he is co-director of the company 391 in Rennes.
He initiated numerous projects in collaboration with artists from the field of contemporary music and the visual arts.
He is teaching on a regular basis at the Centre National de la Danse Contemporaine d'Angers, at the Théâtre National de Bretagne, at the universities Rennes and Paris VIII and internationally.
From 1997 till 2000 he has participated in the Groupe des Signataires de Août. Since 2001 he is head of Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers and is currently a member of Association Aéroport International with regard to a site-specific dance project in Rennes.
His latest productions are a.o.: Morceau, Love and Elucidation.
