“I understand this class as an opportunity for a discourse on the understanding of movement in the diverse disciplines that move around the concept of contemporary dance.
Technical exercises will be complimented by training that encompasses yoga, floorwork, voice training, release technique and improvisation.
By taking a flexible approach the opportunity will be provided for the participants to refer to their own areas of interest; motivating all to explore their personal movement field.”


Milli Bitterli
Milli Bitterli worked with several choreographers such as Meg Stuart, Lloyd Newson, Nigel Charnock, Javier de Frutos, Roberto Galvan, Willi Dorner, before she founded her company artificial horizon in 2000. Since April 2001 she has been the curator for training and workshop at Tanzquartier Wien and has been teaching at international festivals and European dance centres. 2004 Milli Bitterli was artist in residence at Tanzquartier Wien, at Rote Fabrik in Zurich, at Szene Salzburg, at Tanz@Track in Kortrijk and at Tanzhaus Wasserwerk Zurich. In 2002 she presented a reworking of the duet und er ein anderer aus untereinander at ImPulsTanz, in 2003 “Silence Sucks” and “Solo Works”.
