Startup Modern
a sensation of earth profoundly affecting our movement

„All my teaching reflects a dedication to establishing our relationship to the earth ... to the animal in us.
I want to transmit to the students a sensation of earth and how it can profoundly affect their movement. We will concentrate on the basic ways of initiating movement, of coordinating arms and legs, of learning basic movement which will allow the students to absorb technique while dancing.“

Modern Technique
power and freedom of movement

“How to bring together the important elements of dance – the passion and the discipline and fine tuning of the body? ... To dance, guided by an animal instinct that brings these two together to create a power and a freedom of movement worthy of the animal kingdom. I will take students on a journey through my world of dance, and I want to transmit a sensation of earth. All I do reflects my aim to establish this relationship to the earth: coordination, rhythm, density of movement, choice of music and movement.”
