In "we failed to hold this reality in mind Hooman Sharifi approaches his native country, Iran. In 1989, at the age of just 15 Sharifi emigrated to Norway on his own. He completed his training there and today is one of the explicitly political thinkers in contemporary choreography. In this solo he takes up hfc own personal history - with Persian classical music, the dancing of his powerful body and his audience who have been spared the usual darkness in the auditorium.
