[8:tension] Young Choreographers' SeriesAnn Liv Young (USA)
"Solo"
Ann Liv Young is as wild, sharp and cunning as the body itself when in moments of clarity it becomes aware of the fundamental absurdity of existence. In her new piece "solo" which is, by the way, a trio, the young choreographer from North Carolina plays out Albert Camus’ life principle of the absurd contained in his famous book "The Myth of Sisyphus": Experience is possible, redemption unlikely. Young will tell some of the sweetness and a few hard facts about the happiness and fatalities of life – surreal and hyperrealistic, a journey through memories, feelings and fantasies.
