For a new staging of the piece “Too shy to Stare” Davis Freeman is looking for 12-14 dancers or physical performers, with different bodies types, who have a strong control over their body at the ages of 22-45.

“We will work for 10 days to create a new adaptation of the infamous 2002 piece “Too Shy to Stare”. Through the two week creation period of “Too shy to stare 2010” we will use the original choreography as a base score. Over two weeks we’ll then adapt, discover and add new movements depending on the performers. It will be an intense time of research and development to create a new work.

Rehearsals/Creation: July 26- 30 Aug 2-6
Performance: August 5,7,8,9,10, 11,12 - twice a day (17.00 + 21.00) at Kunsthalle Wien /project space
