After studying dance at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Kristýna Lhotáková studied at the Duncan Centre and the visual arts studio of Václav Hollar. From 1993-96, she performed in the DEJA DONNE Dance Company's "Strappi Stuzicanti". Since 1995, she dedicates herself to her own choreography and dance creations. With Ladislav Soukup, art history graduate, Kristýna has created performances that have been performed all over the world: "Venus with a Rubik's Cube" (1999), "TransIT!" (2000), "Blankets" (2001) and "Swan" (2002), "Question for Next Year" (2002), "Featured" (2004) and "I am here, you are at home" (2004).
