Catherine Guerin was born in New York and got her dance education with David Howard, Carlos Orta, Rui Horta and Jeremy Nelson. Catherine Guerin joined Liz King in Heidelberg and worked as a dancer, also choreographed two pieces for Heidelberger Ballett, later for Tnaztheater/Wien "Fragment 4" und "Textus".Togehter with hans Kresnik she did "Brecht" in Mannheim. Her latest works "Schwanensee Remixed" and "Counter Fits" are repertory of the Wiener Volksopern Ballet."Multiplicites" was produced fpr the Regensborger Dance Festival 2000 in collaboration with the Bruckner Akademie (Linz- Dance Department). Catherine Guerin is artistic director and founder of "Moving C.O.R.E." a Research/Performance-project located at Heidelberg.
