Danie Lepkoff studied Release Technique with Mary Fulkerson and has been a central figure with Steve Paxton and others in the development of Contact Improvisation since 1972. He is known as an innovative teacher and performer of new movement forms and is a founder of work in dance centers and universities throughout the USA and Europe, and is a frequent guest teacher at the school for New Dance Development in Amsterdam.
