In 1968 Fred Marteny became director of the Salzburger landestheater BAllet and since then he has successfully presented numerous choreographies and has invited interesting guest choreographers. Fred Marteny who was born in Prague and has two decades of experience worked at numerous theaters in Austria and Germany, unter Rosella Hightower and Roland Petit in Marseille and recently also in the Middle and Far East , in Japan, Seoul and Israel.
