The American Howard Katz is having his second home in Germany for some time now. In both countries he is teaching at several places, i.e. in New York at Dance Space, Perridance, New York University, in Germany at Tanzwerkstatt Bremen, Tanzfabrik Berlin, Die Etage Berlin, and in Israel and Italy at several dance studios and companies. He was a dancer with Donald Byrd Dance Company, David Parsons and New York City Opera Company.

At the moment his artistic centre is Berlin, where the last two solos „Minotaurus“ and „Kata“ celebrated their premiere in Europe. Music and musicians are often important partners for him, during the last years he was taking part in several musical projects. Repeatedly he has been involved in the creation and performance of multimedia projects.
