Elsa Wolliaston has been initiating African contemporary expressive dance in France. She has an outstanding international reputation as a choreographer as much as a dancer. Since 1995 when she won the Grand Prix International de St-Denis she has created five pieces. She has been working regularly for theatre and opera with famous directors Peter Stein and Jean-Luc Bondy among many others.
