After an initial training in Western theater, Anette Leday studied the dance theater, Kathakali, in South India under the guidance of greatest modern masters of Kathakali for nine years. During the Eighties she organized tours through Europe with the two major Kathakali companies. In 1989 she founded her own company and successfully toured several contemporary choreographies.
