Masaki Iwana started dancing in 1974 in the "School of Butoh". AFter a period of experimental solo performances, he created the high acclaimed piece "Namanari" (1985). Since then he got invited to teach and perform his work all over the world. Masaki is referred to be the founder of "White Butoh".
