Cecilia Marta who was born in Panama has been teaching her very personal and very energetic Jazz style for about 15 years now and has become internationally successful as a teacher. She teaches at the Alvin Ailey Amercan Dance Center, at the Broadway Dance Center, in the studio Steps and since 1992 she has been the artistic director of her own company. Since 1990 Cecilia Marta has performed and made choreographies for Roberta Flack. She also worked for Al Jarreau and Jesse Jackson.
