Rosangela Silvestre was born in Salvador, BAhia , where she graduated from the Federal University and studied with Mestre King, Mercedes BAptista and Clyde Morgan. Since 1981, she has performed and choreographed for the Odundé Dance Company in Brazil and currently serves as instructor and choreographer in New York City.
