In his own highly successful training program and in trainings worldwide Dennis Leris has proved to be an innovative and an inspiring teacher. After graduating from the San Francisco Training (1977) he appreciated with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais at the Feldenkrais Institute in Tel Aviv. Associated with neuroepistemologists Francisco Varela and Humberto Maturana and with cyberneticist Heinz von Foerster, Leri demonstrates the ways in which the Feldenkrais Method is consistent with current thinking in neurobiology. He has a long time interest in Tibetan Buddhism and is an instructor in the Lan Shou system of Kung Fu.
