Since the foundation of the Tanzfabrik Berlin Dieter Heitkamp has been one of its artistic directors. He studied sport, biology and fine arts. Since 1981Dieter Heitkamp has created productions for the Tanzfabrik. He also made choreographies for the Ballett Frankfurt, the Freie Volksbühne Berlin and for film and television.
