Paula Zacharias began her career in her native Argentina as an assistant producer for television and commercials. In 2000 she started her own video editing and production company, Nagualfilms, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Nagualfilms is now headquartered in Buenos Aires where Paula splits her time between producing, film editing and shooting stock. She has produced stock shots in Argentina, Brazil, India and Mexico. Paula is also a dancer and performer of butoh and contact improvisation since 1994. She started dancing with Alma Falkenberg in 1989 and developed her studies with Andrea Fernandez, with whom she keeps exploring and investigating the form with a commited group. She also developed her knowledge with teachers like Steve Paxton, Nina Martin, Lisa Nelson, Andrew Harwood, Martin Keogh , Rhea Volij, Tadashi Endo, Minako Seki, Diego Pinon among others. Her background also includes Hatha yoga, release technique, contemporary dance, bodywork and Compositional improvisation.
