”...d‘un Faune (éclats)” is a staged discourse
about Nijinsky’s faun in which Le Quatuor Albrecht Knust deconstruct
the creation layer by layer, similar to archaeologists who remove consecutive
layers of stone. In the pulverisation of the monolithic original, the
work becomes detached from its creator and genius and is opened up for
potential new points of departure.
