She loves form but life is still important to her. In a confident and
enigmatic way - something which cannot be disputed about her choreographic
work - Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker breaks through the smooth surface
of minimalism to open up scope for emotion within the strict form. The
tensions and contradictions between dance, text and music are the subject
of the collaborative production of Tanzcompagnie ROSAS, the collective
theatre group Tg. STAN and the jazz ensemble AKA MOON. The continuous
basic flow of de Keersmaekers movements, that gently swirl around
the fourteen dancers, becomes increasingly broken as the piece progresses.
In each performance they have to start afresh and find a mutual rhythm
and mutual breathing.
